Foxconn Shows Continued Commitment to Wisconsin with Madison Office Announcement

MADISON – Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce (WMC) applauded Foxconn’s continued investment in the state on Friday. Foxconn announced it would purchase the building at 1 West Main Street in downtown Madison from BMO Harris Bank. While BMO’s employees will continue to reside in the building, Foxconn will use the building as a hub for technological innovation and a connection to students, researchers and others on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus.

After the announcement, WMC President & CEO Kurt Bauer released the following statement:

“There is no doubt that Foxconn is committed to Wisconsin. From their Science and Technology Park in Mount Pleasant and North American Headquarters in Milwaukee to their Innovation Centers in Racine, Green Bay and Eau Claire and now Foxconn Place in Madison, they are making long-term investments in our state and our people.

“Wisconsin will become a high-tech hub in the United States thanks to Foxconn. We are excited for this new office and Innovation Center in Madison, and we look forward to seeing Foxconn – and its supply chain – grow throughout the state.”
