Madison – Yesterday, Senator Mary Lazich (R-New Berlin) announced she would not be seeking re-election this fall in the state’s 28th Senate District. Sen. Lazich has served the people of Wisconsin for more than twenty years in both the Assembly and the Senate. Following Sen. Lazich’s announcement WMC’s Senior Vice President of Government Relations, Scott Manley, released the following statement:
“Senator Lazich has been a voice for common sense, pro-growth policies that have helped Wisconsin companies create jobs and grow for more than twenty years. Her leadership on key issues has been invaluable to our state, and she will be greatly missed.
“On behalf of WMC and our members, I offer our heartfelt thanks to Sen. Lazich for her service to the people of Wisconsin and wish her all the best as she moves on to her next endeavor.”
