How they’re growing: Alto-Shaam has completed a $8.3 million expansion to create an additional 26,000 square feet of manufacturing capacity. As a significant source of jobs in Waukesha County, te expansion adds to Alto-Shaam’s continued investment in the people and facilities of Wisconsin. Thanks to the support provided by the state of Wisconsin, certain manufacturing functions that had been performed by suppliers outside of Wisconsin will be brought to the Menomonee Falls facility.
The centralization and realignment of various automated equipment and manufacturing process works to drive cost reduction, improve product quality and further apply Alto-Shaam’s lean production principles by reducing scrap and improving raw material utilization.
