WMC Executive Vice President of Communications & Marketing Nick Novak joined Vicki McKenna on WIBA to discuss the results of WMC’s latest Employer Survey that was focused on the economy.
“Right now 71 percent of businesses expect us to be in a recession in the next year and 4 in 10 of these companies believe we’ll be in a recession by the end of 2022,” Novak said. “Only 29 percent of respondents expect the U.S. economy to grow, nearly 40 percent of Wisconsin businesses think it will decline over the next six months.”
