WMC Senior Director of Workforce, Education & Employment Policy Rachel Ver Velde joined Matt Kittle on the Vicki McKenna Show to discuss the findings of WMC Foundation’s latest report, Wisconsin’s Demographic Dilemma.
“Our members’ number one concern is the workforce shortage,” shared Ver Velde. “This is not a problem that is going to go away anytime soon. We don’t have the people here to fill these positions. It’s a huge problem for the business community and it’s going to be for years ahead unless we make some significant policy reforms.”
