MADISON – Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce (WMC) President & CEO Kurt Bauer released the following statement after U.S. Rep. Sean Duffy announced he will resign from his seat in Congress on Sept. 23 to be closer to his family:
“Congressman Duffy is a great friend to Wisconsin’s business community and has been a terrific voice for the people in Wisconsin’s 7th District. His leadership in Washington will be sorely missed. We wish him, Rachel and their entire family all the best as they welcome a new baby girl this October.”
