Manufacturing Month Comes to a Close
MADISON – As Manufacturing Month comes to a close, we need to be remember that every day is manufacturing day in Wisconsin.
October was Manufacturing Month in Wisconsin, and WMC, Wisconsin’s manufacturer’s association and chamber of commerce, led the celebration which is coming to a close today. There are a number of resources available for the media at WMC.org.

“With nearly 500,000 people working in manufacturing with average compensation of more than $50,000 annually, every day is manufacturing day in Wisconsin,” said Scott Manley, senior vice president of government relations.
Earlier this month, Wisconsin residents voted for Oshkosh Corporation’s Joint Light Tactical Vehicle to win the Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin, sponsored by WMC and Johnson Financial Group.
