Nine Companies Win Business Friend of Environment Award

Sustainability, Innovation and Stewardship Honored

As Wisconsin’s economy continues to improve, nine companies have received the prestigious Business Friend of the Environment Award for leadership in sustainability, environmental innovation and environmental stewardship, WMC announced Thursday.
“Wisconsin businesses are leaders in environmental innovation and stewardship and that leads to a cleaner environment for our families. We are fortunate to have so many companies that go beyond what is required under state and federal regulations,” said Kurt R. Bauer, WMC President/CEO. “And, clean companies are successful and profitable companies and that leads to better jobs and brighter futures for our families.”
The 2015 Business Friend of the Environment Awards are presented by Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce (WMC), the state’s chamber of commerce and largest business association.
