WMC President/CEO Kurt R. Bauer Elected to National Association of Manufacturers’ Board of Directors

 
MADISON – Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce (WMC) announced on Monday that Kurt R. Bauer was elected by his peers to serve on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM).
“It is a privilege to be elected by my peers to this position,” said Bauer. “The National Association of Manufacturers is a powerful advocate for the manufacturing community. I look forward to working with them to advance an agenda that boosts the economy and creates high-quality jobs for Wisconsinites and others across the country.”
Since 2011, Bauer has been the President/CEO of WMC. He also serves on Council of State Chambers of Commerce, U.S. Chamber of Commerce Committee of 100, U.S. Chamber of Commerce Public Affairs Committee, National Association of Manufacturers Political Action Committee, Governor’s Council on Workforce Investment, Wisconsin Advisory Committee for the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition and the Fix the Debt Wisconsin Steering Committee.
Bauer will serve a two-year term, ending Dec. 2018.
