WMC Recognizes Bob McCoy for his Service to the Chamber of Commerce Community

MADISON – After 23 years, Eau Claire Area Chamber of Commerce President/CEO Bob McCoy has made the decision to retire – leaving a lasting legacy on the Chamber of Commerce community locally, throughout Wisconsin and across the country.
McCoy served twice on the American Chamber of Commerce Executives Board of Directors during his career and was previously the Chairman of the Board of the Directors for the Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce Executives – a program run by Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce (WMC). Additionally, he was actively involved with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Institute for Organization Management at the West Institute.
WMC President/CEO Kurt R. Bauer released the following statement recognizing McCoy for his service:
“Bob has been an asset to all of us in the chamber community. His leadership here in Wisconsin and nationally will surely be missed. I am glad I had the opportunity to work with Bob over the past few years and wish him the best of luck in retirement.
“I also want to congratulate his successor Dave Minor, who will be joining the Eau Claire Area Chamber after leading the Superior-Douglas County Area Chamber for 23 years.”
McCoy’s last day is June 2, and Minor will begin July 1.
