WMC submitted comments to the Natural Resources Board (NRB) this week in opposition to the DNR’s proposed NR 107, which makes sweeping changes to how the state regulates the management of plants in bodies of water. Under the new rule, small businesses, lake associations, local governments, and homeowners would be subject to burdensome new regulations and substantially higher fees in order to treat or manage invasive weeds in lakes, rivers, or ponds.
