13 Companies Win Wisconsin Corporate Safety Awards

Award winners will be honored and recognized at the 77th Wisconsin Safety Council Annual Conference

MADISON – Wisconsin Safety Council, the state’s leading provider of safety training and products, the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development (DWD) and M3 Insurance will honor 13 companies with this year’s Wisconsin Corporate Safety Awards.

“Wisconsin Safety Council is actively working to make our state the safest place to live, work and play,” said Wisconsin Safety Council President Katie Yeutter. “These 13 companies have proved they believe in this mission and value their employees’ safety above all else.”

The 13 winners were chosen by an independent panel of 30 judges who are safety, health and insurance professionals. Applicants were required to submit data about their safety records, in addition to providing information about their company’s safety and health leadership, training programs and their safety accomplishments and goals.

“I applaud the commitment to safety demonstrated by this year’s awardees because safe work environments benefit everyone, from workers to employers to the general public,” Department of Workforce Development Secretary-designee Caleb Frostman said. “Through great relationships with our employer partners, our Worker’s Compensation Division’s Safety Program will continue to act as a resource to employers who need assistance in managing their safety needs.”

The awards will be presented during the 77th Wisconsin Safety Council Annual Conference at the Kalahari Resort and Convention Center in Wisconsin Dells on Tuesday, April 16 by Wisconsin Safety Council, the Department of Workforce Development and M3 Insurance.

“This year’s Corporate Safety Award winners make up the best of the best when it comes to keeping workers safe,” added Yeutter. “From everyone at Wisconsin Safety Council, we congratulate our winners on receiving this prestigious award and thank them for their dedication to providing a safe workplace for employees.”
