MADISON – Applications are now being accepted for the 35th annual Manufacturer of the Year (MOTY) Awards program, sponsored by Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce, Michael Best & Fredrich LLP and Baker Tilly. The MOTY awards showcase Wisconsin’s leading industry, which contributes nearly $70 billion to the state’s economic output annually, accounting for nearly 20% of its GDP.
With over 9,000 manufacturers in the state employing 1 in 6 Wisconsin workers, the MOTY Awards program acknowledges the pivotal role manufacturers play in Wisconsin’s economy: their innovations, philanthropy, technological advances, commitment to customer satisfaction and quality jobs.
Manufacturers of all sizes and from all corners of Wisconsin are strongly encouraged to apply. The deadline for application submissions is December 1, 2023.
The annual MOTY Awards program continues to pay homage to Wisconsin’s diverse and vibrant manufacturing sector. These employers remain at the forefront of driving Wisconsin’s economy, providing quality careers and manufacturing important products.
Winners will be selected by an independent panel of judges from industry, government, education and the business media, including past MOTY award winners. Winning manufacturers will be announced at a black-tie awards ceremony on February 22, 2024, at The Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee.
