State Chamber Forms Partnership to Provide Discounted Insurance

WMC to Offer Property and Casualty Coverage via Frankenmuth

MADISON – Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce (WMC) – the combined state chamber and manufacturers’ association – will offer discounted property and casualty insurance coverage through a new partnership with Frankenmuth, a 150-year-old insurance carrier.

The partnership will enhance WMC’s current health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance offerings through its for-profit subsidiary, WMC Insurance. With this announcement, WMC members will have access to discounted rates on business insurance. Beyond discounts on premiums, additional benefits include: industry specific coverages, educational opportunities and loss control services.

“WMC and WMC Insurance are always looking for ways to better serve Wisconsin’s business community,” said Robert Baker, Senior Director of WMC Insurance. “Our new partnership with Frankenmuth will save our members money, which makes them more competitive in whatever sector of the economy they operate in.”

Baker said Frankenmuth’s “A” rating with AM Best and outstanding customer claims satisfaction record makes them the right partner for WMC Insurance.
