WMC Comments on President Obama’s Visit to Wisconsin

MADISON – Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce – the leading advocate for manufacturers in the state – commended President Barack Obama for emphasizing the importance of manufacturing as he visits Master Lock today in Milwaukee.
WMC President/CEO Kurt R. Bauer said:
“I applaud the president’s recognition of U.S. manufacturing’s continued importance. The sector is the largest in Wisconsin and remains the backbone of family-supporting middle class jobs. It is my hope that the president backs up his emphasis on manufacturing by supporting policies that improve manufacturers’ global competitiveness in regards to affordable energy, attracting skilled workers, taxes and regulations.”
