Barb Deans currently serves as the Associate Director with WSC. Barb started with WSC in 1989 as an Administrative Assistant and has held many titles during her tenure.
Barb works closely with the WSC Advisory Board and Committees. She has been involved with the meeting profession for 35 years, starting with an association management company overseeing numerous events. In 2006, she was recognized as Meeting Planner of the Year by the National Speakers Association-Wisconsin Chapter.
Barb has volunteered for Relay for Life, United Way Day of Caring and served as the Donations Leader for the Madison Chapter of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. Barb is a Wisconsin native and a graduate of Madison College.
