Participate in the Take Your Legislator to Work Campaign

Take Your Legislator to Work Campaign Logo

In October, the Wisconsin Board for People with Developmental Disabilities (BPDD) conducts the Take Your Legislator to Work Campaign to raise awareness about the importance of community-integrated employment for people with disabilities. During the campaign, businesses that employ people with disabilities are encouraged to invite a legislator to visit their business. Legislators see firsthand how businesses provide the opportunity for people with disabilities to utilize their talents, enhance the work environment, and ultimately create a more inclusive community.
If you are interested in showcasing your business during the Take Your Legislator to Work Campaign, BPDD will assist in coordinating a visit from a legislator. Just contact Joshua Ryf at joshua.ryf@wisconsin.gov or 608.261.7829. To learn more about the campaign, go to www.wi-bpdd.org/takeyourlegislatorwork/.
