As Wisconsin celebrates Manufacturing Month, Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce (WMC) is hosting its annual Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin contest. WMC’s goal is to make Wisconsin the most competitive state to do business, ensuring it’s the best place to work and raise a family. They advocate for businesses and manufacturers, and use things like the contest to highlight the diverse industry.
“We love partnering with Johnson Financial Group each year to be able to bring attention to these different products that we make,” Novak said. “Our aim is to showcase the diversity, the vibrancy, of Wisconsin manufacturing, and that shows in our Top 8.”
Novak also spoke about some chief concerns of manufacturers, namely inflation and healthcare costs. He suggested tax reforms that would help expand the economy and bring down costs, comparing Wisconsin’s economy with other midwestern states.
