WMC Litigation Center is representing taxpayers in a lawsuit aimed at a veto from Gov. Evers that resulted in a 400-year property tax increase.
“We’re challenging what we think is an illegal use of the line-item veto,” said WMC’s Scott Manley while on air with Vicki McKenna. “We’re asking our state’s highest court to restore the rule of law and really restore the taxing authority back where it belongs, which is with individual citizens and their elected members of the state Senate and state Assembly.”
