United States Secretary of Labor Eugene Scalia to Address WMC’s Business Day in Madison

MADISON – United State Secretary of Labor Eugene Scalia will be addressing attendees of Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce’s Business Day in Madison on February 26, 2020.

“We are honored that the United States Secretary of Labor will be joining our state’s business leaders at Business Day in Madison,” said WMC President & CEO Kurt Bauer. “We look forward to hearing from Eugene Scalia about our workforce, discuss the recent passage of the USMCA – which was a win for Wisconsin’s economy – and how we can partner with the Trump Administration to make Wisconsin one of the most competitive states in the nation.”

Business Day in Madison will take place on Wednesday, February 26 at the Monona Terrace Community & Convention Center. This event brings business leaders from all over the state together to discuss important issues facing the business community and our economy.

Additional speakers at the event include:

  • Guy Benson, political editor of Townhall.com, Fox News contributor and author will give an update on Washington, D.C. politics, and how Wisconsin will factor into the 2020 elections
  • Scott Moore, retired United States Navy SEAL Rear Admiral and an expert on building and leading “No-Fail” teams
  • Admiral James A. Winnefeld, Jr., retired United States Navy Admiral, former Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and co-founder of Stop the Addiction Fatality Epidemic (SAFE) Project to fight opioid addiction
  • Wilson Jones, President/CEO of Oshkosh Corporation – a Fortune 500 company with over 15,000 employees and $7.7 billion in revenue
